It’s that time of the year again when vivid art replaces the summer sun when we seek to bring a degree of warmth to the soul.

And it’s also that time of the year when one of the Maclaurin’s most popular annual events takes place - the Save The Children exhibition.

This year’s show is the 32nd to take place in our galleries and what a fantastic selection of art there is to see again - and who knows, maybe to add to a personal collection or purchase as a gift for a deserving friend. Once again, there will be an array of miniature works available from £75.

As ever, there will be a raffle prize and this year the lucky winner will take home Claire Harrigan’s stunning Tropical Bouquet, pictured above.

And, of course, the proceeds of the sales go to a very worthy cause.
