Another year, another busy schedule of exciting exhibitions at the Maclaurin Galleries.

At the time of writing, the stunning Tacit show, featuring selected works from the Maclaurin’s permanent collection graces Galleries 3 and 4 featuring a beautiful collaboration of works curated by Neo Hanna. Tacit runs until Sunday February 22.

Meanwhile, the talented bunch at Ayr Sketch Club are celebrating their 125th anniversary show with an exhibition demonstrating the range of styles and techniques employed by their five dozen-plus active members.

Chris H MacKenzie and Sean McGlashan have their own work on show alongside a complementary exhibition which they have jointly curated from the Maclaurin permanent collection. All three run until Sunday March 1.

Artists and crafters bring their best when Visual Arts Scotland’s Members’ Exhibition goes on show from March 29 to May 27.



And among the highlights of the year will be our participation in the nationwide Royal Scottish Academy bicentennial celebrations from June until August. Get your diary out.
